  1. Buy discounted attraction tickets in China Town at Sea Wheel Travels. You can compare prices with other agents near your accommodation and decide too. We usually bought our tickets here or online. Alight at Chinatown station, take Exit D to get to People’s Park Centre. The agency is on the third floor.
  2. For Universal Studios:
    • In some of the rides, you may get wet. Make sure you carry the essentials.
    • If you do not want to wait long for a ride, buy the Express entry tickets.
    • Wear comfortable clothes and shoes preferably. Some rides may need you to wear closed shoes, which will not fly away during the ride such as Roller Coaster ride.
  3. Do not forget to carry the sunscreen.
  4. There are decent eateries inside Sentosa. For pure vegetarians, Chillies and cafes have few options.
  5. Best time to visit Singapore:
    • Christmas and New Year (December): The Orchard Road takes a different look what with stores competing with each other in its decoration and Christmas trees. It is amazing to walk the streets among the lights. The street is crowded but you will find people singing carols and dancing to hymns. Do not miss the Christmas tree by Ferrero Rocher and Swarovski stores in Orchard and the one installed in HarbourFront!
    • Chinese New Year (February): One of the best times to visit when the city is rejoicing the advent of the new year. China Town is decorated based on the year of the animal. Note that there is a shut down the whole week. Most shops may not be open.
    • National Day (August): The entire country is decorated with Singapore flags and Marina Bay has fireworks every day a few days before the final show. The final show is a spectacle with all the defense forces coming together to put up a fantastic show. There is a parade too by students.
